After it fills and stops, is there ANY sound — a hum, a click — or total silence?
A hum with no circulation means something is jamming the wash pump or the motor has failed. Total silence points to the float switch or latch cutting the cycle.
Always de-energize the circuit and verify it's dead with a tester before opening any device. When in doubt, call a licensed electrician.
